Meet The Team - Singing Starlets Children's Party Entertainment team

Terri graduated from Hertfordshire Theatre School in 2010 and (inbetween having two beautiful children) has been teaching and working as a professional singer and actress ever since. Terri’s stagename is Terema Wainwright and she has performed in London fringe theatres, films, corporate films, tv commercials and music videos. She is best known for her role as ‘Alicia Keys’ in the much loved spoof music video ‘Newport Ymerodraeth State of Mind’, which was regularly played on the tv show ‘RudeTube’. Terri started Starlets in 2016 when she realised what a positive effect Theatre School has had on her own child since the age of 4 years old, and she wanted to offer this opportunity to other young children. She believes performing arts is fun and also wonderful for children’s confidence. It is important to teach children to learn through play, but also to encourage them to be independent and to have courage  as early as possible. Terri also teaches LAMDA, Glee Club, Drama and Singing at Dreams Theatre School in Biggleswade and she is a singing tutor at Mad Hatters Theatre School in Shefford.

Meet The Team

Melissa has always had a creative streak from the age of 4 she was making songs up using her daily experience for lyrics inspiration. Melissa’s passion for performing arts lead her to participate in amateur dramatics, choirs, competitions, performing arts at college and further developing her career with a business degree. Drawn to music, she has been working as a professional singer, along side some of the best function bands in Hertfordshire and the london area and furthermore has been part of the Singing starlets team, aiding children’s creativity in performance as well as building their confidence to express them selves. Her ‘Disney style’ voice, infectious energy and engaging presence has been a real hit with the children and we are so pleased to have her on board.

What people say about us

Terri came to my house yesterday to entertain my 2 year old little girl and her friends they loved it and joined in with all the dancing. She is fab and definitely worth hiring! xx

Terri hosted my daughter Meliha’s 4th birthday yesterday, there was an age range of 1 year to 8 years old and every one got involved (even the adults). The props and songs used where well thought out and fun for all. Would not hesitate to book again. Would have gave you more stars if face book had that option. Thanks again for making a special day memorable in so many ways – happy children and one very happy mummy xxx

Terri was amazing this afternoon at our 3 year olds party today at Sharnbrook village hall.

Terri made sure to include every child including those who didn’t know others in the group and also from a diverse age range (4 months to 9 years).

Terri played games, sung songs and did dancing making sure all children got to unwrap during pass the parcel.

Thanks Terri for letting our little one have a fab birthday party!

Harrys mum

A big thank you to Terri at Singing Starlets, for her energetic and captivating, musical and dance performance at our son Harry’s first birthday party. Babies from 4 months to kids up to 5 years of age, thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and interacted with Terri and her singing starlets. I was particularly impressed with how she made every child feel part of the activity by interacting with them through song, dance and fun props. It was so good, Mummies and daddies even got involved! I would highly recommend Singing Starlets as an activity/entertainment for parties. The singing Starlets CD is also fantastic and a must in my car!

I cannot recommend singing starlets enough. Absolute value for money for my Williams first birthday . All the children from 4 months to 6 years had a fab time and all joined in and loved every minute. I would not hesitate to use again and simply can not recommend enough. Thank you
